Mr Chan is very familiar with all topics in both IB Biology and Chemistry. During the lessons, he went through the content of each topic in detail, allowing the student to take notes at the same time. He also helped students by producing brief notes that highlight the main points of each topic, which was very useful for studying. Whenever I had any questions, he was able to answer them thoroughly with ease and ensured that I was familiar with the contents. This made me feel confident about both subjects and helped me achieve a 7 out of 7 for both Biology (HL) and Chemistry (HL) in the IB exams.

I initially disliked the conceptual nature of chemistry but Mr. Chan has exclusively demonstrated a tactical, engaging and diligent teaching approach to consistently diagnose my weaknesses and flaws. I would like to emphasise his progressive mentality, which encourages students to learn from mistakes. Mr. Chan displayed compassion, empathy and unconditional support during my stressful periods of the program. Subsequently, he helps to alleviate my problems from the root, by tailoring chemistry content in a condensed and informative manner. Ultimately, it allowed me to excel within this scientific discipline, scoring a level 7/7 for my final IB Chemistry exam.

在2019年年初，为了拯救我的雅思分数，经老师推荐我来到晋博教育中心进行雅思学习。虽然学习时间只有短短的十天，却能够把我的雅思分数从普通的5.5直接拉上了合格线6.5。

首先要感谢的是Adam老师，对于写作，他很有自己的方法，而写作，是很需要一个地道的老师帮你理清思路以及修改语法的，特别是对于我们第二语言习得者来说，口语则是另外一部分，究竟需要怎么说才能拿到一个比较满意的分数，在一对一的教学之中，Adam老师也有所提及。

另外，Nathan老师，他是一名心理医生，和他聊天是一个很愉快的过程，同时也能够提升口语能力。

最后，学习是自己的事情，找到正确的方法，跟随正确的老师以及自己的勤奋努力是取的好成绩的高效保证，三者缺一不可。

IELTS 2019

Right before my retake exams for unit 1 and 2 GCE Chemistry A Levels, I went to Brighten Youth Education Centre for the last minute tutorials. I had little time to prepare but a lot to revise before the exams in January. Mr. Chan helped me summarizing key points of the syllabus in 2 lessons, and gave me succinct explanations to each question I had got incorrect in a past paper. This led me to a great improvement in Chemistry. I am very grateful for Mr. Chan's summary of the AS course. I got 2As in unit 1 and 2 Chemistry.
