The IB Diploma
The International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma aims to create learners who are inquirers, knowledgeable, thinkers, communicators, principled, open minded, caring, risk takers, balanced and reflective. As Hong Kong’s most popular international curriculum for students aged 16 to 19, the IB is a rigorous, two-year course that requires the study of six subjects (three at Standard Level and three at Higher Level), as well the Theory of Knowledge (TOK) and Extended Essay (EE). Recognised and respected by many of the world’s leading employers and universities, impressive IB scores are a vital part of gaining access to your chosen prospective university.
Brighten’s experienced tutors can help with all aspects of the IB curriculum, from support with new material throughout the course, to TOK or EE planning, to past paper drills, to final exam strategy. Maintaining a balance between the increasingly demanding, disparate aspects of the IB curriculum can be challenging and stressful. Brighten’s tutors offer not only expert intellectual guidance, but also emotional support and creative rapport, allowing students to find a comfortable study space and strategy, and helping the students to achieve the best grades they are capable of. Brighten offers professional tuition in the following IB subjects at both Standard and Higher Level:
