I am a practicing solicitor of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. My two children, Sharon and Aaron have both been admitted to study medicine in the University of Hong Kong and Chinese University by virtue of DSE results 2014 and this year respectively.

Mr Chan taught them Chemistry and Biology subjects for at least one year before their respective DSE. He has displayed a high degree of professionalism and patience and most important of all able to render just and timely instructions to my two children pinpointing their individual weakness in the relevant subjects thus pathing their way to a good achievement in DSE. Mr Chan has been my tutor for the International Baccalaureate Diploma higher level biology and higher level chemistry over the course of 2013-2015. He has tremendously supported me on my internal assessments, coursework, and external examinations. Notably, I have scored the full mark of level 7 for the respective subjects. This fall I will directly join year 2 medical cohort of the Global Physician Leadership Stream at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

No doubt my recent academic success can be attributed to Mr. Chan’s support and teaching. His strength lies in both explaining syllabus content in a comprehensible and coherent manner and teaching students to apply their knowledge onto practical examination questions. Mr. Chan is resourceful with past papers, textbooks, and study notes. He will go above and beyond to aid his students during stressful times: giving feedback to students and demonstrating to us good examination techniques. Moreover, I believe Mr. Chan is a great tutor because not only did he teach the prescribed content, but he also engages students such that they are motivated to self study and succeed.

In summary, Mr. Chan is a trust-worthy, reliable, and well informed teacher and I highly recommend him for you (the student) or your child during their academic journey.

Mr Fung has helped me a lot in my GCE A level Mathematics subjects. In particular the Further Pure Mathematics modules which I struggled the most. Without his help I won't be able to get a full mark in the paper.
