I'm currently a grade 11 student at Australian International School. Nathan has been my tutor since I was in grade 9. Throughout these two years, he has taught me English, Biology, Chemistry and recently Psychology. I'm very grateful to Nathan because science was never my strongest subject in grade 9. I was a C average student before I met Nathan, and at that time I was really struggling. Nathan helped me organize my school study schedule, helped me make sense of how much work I had and gave me tips as to how I should organize my time. In addition to that he help me understand rather than just memorize concepts and definitions and how inter-connected those two can be.
I'm now considering in enrolling at medical school in the U.S and that credit goes to Nathan. His knowledge, patience, understanding and his attitude of not giving up on his students has changed the way I've approached my education. I would whole-heartedly recommend Nathan as a tutor.

Nathan has been teaching me IB Biology and Psychology since grade 11. When I first met Nathan, my grades in Biology and Psychology averaged between 4 and 5, mostly due to the fact that I was unable to understand and connect various concepts to one another. When Nathan started teaching me, the first thing he did was he spoke to me about why I was underachieving, and no tutor before him had ever been so candid with me before. He made me feel involved in my own education by discussing and creating a study plan suited to my needs, and helping me set up realistic goals such as needing to cover certain topics before an exam.
Suffice to say, once Nathan started tutoring me, my grades started getting better. Nathan and I started our lessons in January, 2014 when I was in grade 11 and my grades in Biology and Psychology were 4 and 5 respectively at that time. I achieved grades of 6 in Biology and 7 in Psychology at the end of grade 11 and 7 in Biology and 7 in Psychology at the end of grade 12. Overall I graduated with 42 points.
I am currently studying Biotechnology with Major in Biopsychology and Chemistry at Harvard University in the U.S, and I firmly believe that Nathan’s dedication, his knowledge and his passion for teaching helped me reached heights I never thought I could achieve. I’m sure that any student Nathan teaches will excel at his or her subject of choice.

I’m currently being tutored by Nathan for Biology, Psychology and English for A-Levels. Nathan has been tutoring me since 2013 and I’m currently in my final year of high school. I’ve been very impressed by how far I’ve personally come since Nathan has been tutoring me. I started off with achieving C’s in Biology and Psychology and B in English. I’ve had a number of tutors working with me before I met Nathan, and while they were all good, I was never able to achieve A’s or B’s during those periods.
However, all that changed once Nathan started tutoring me. We discussed why I was having such a hard time achieving the results I wanted and in the end we came up with a 6 month plan to try and improve my grades. During those 6 months, my grades went from C’s to B’s and within one year I received my first A in Psychology and Biology as well as B in English. I’m currently in Grade 12 and according to my latest mock exams at school I received an A in all three subjects Nathan has been tutoring me.
I’m very fortunate to have met Nathan as he has not only helped me excel and foster my interest in education but has also given me the confidence I need in my future endeavours.
