Chan Sir has been teaching me the higher levels of Physics and Chemistry IB Diploma for the past 2 years. Throughout the lessons conducted, Chan sir has thoroughly demonstrated his knowledge in the respective subjects and skills in the aspect of teaching. There were a lot of things that I did not understand in both subjects thus I sought help from him. After his explanations, my knowledge and understanding of concepts have undoubtedly been improved. I could never have been so successful without his help.
Apart from that, Chan Sir has also provided abundant and useful materials for my preparation for the IB examinations. An adequate amount of IB past papers were readily available and efficiently sorted by topics so I could engage in my revision more effectively.
I got a promising progress for the two subjects, with level 5 upgraded to level 6 obtained from the IB Diploma exam. In the end, I achieved an overall score of 38 and was able to meet the requirements to study in the law school of Warwick. I am infinitely grateful for the coaching and guidance by Chan sir. I will undoubtedly refer Chan Sir to other students.

Mr Chan taught me IB Chemistry and IB Biology for the past 2 years. He is very clear with his explanations, using analogies to demonstrate complex ideas and concepts, making it easy for myself to understand. He is also very experienced in helping out with internal assessments and lab reports.
I have received 3 university offers from the UK, including The University of Edinburgh, The Royal Veterinary College, and The University of Glasgow to study veterinary medicine. Regarding my IB exam results, I have achieved a total of 44 points, with a 7 in Chemistry as well as Biology.

Mr. Chan taught our son Kenny Chemistry from July 2014 to May 2015. During that period, Kenny was in Year 13 studying for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program.
Mr. Chan was able to guide Kenny with consummate teaching skills and strategies and bolstered his knowledge of the subject. He also showed endless patience and keen observation when interacting with Kenny, which helped to motivate and encourage him to overcome anxieties in tackling this subject. Kenny achieved a grade 7 in his IB results, and received offer from the HKUST in Engineering. This achievement is testament to Mr. Chan’s ability and tireless effort as his private tutor.
I wish Mr. Chan continued success with his tutoring work, and would unreservedly recommend him to students looking for private tutor.
